The Race of Champions 2025 is March 21-23!
Tok hosts the Race of Champions and Junior Race of Champions every year, and has many mushers with kennels based out of our town. It has perfect snow conditions and long winters that make it an ideal location for dogmushing. Cheer on mushers in a festive small town atmosphere while you're here in March, a truly magical time when the world is still frozen but the light has returned.

Tok has some of the darkest skies in the world, and especially in late winter/early spring, some of the clearest. March is prime time for Northern Lights, but we routinely see the Aurora Borealis several nights a week throughout the winter.
